I attended a seminar taught by Garry Parker about 13 years ago. At the time, I was a training supervisor for an agency with about 3500 officers. Garry’s course focused on the culture of police driving. The course was extremely impactful and left a lasting impression on myself and those in attendance. Fast forward about four years ago, 

I ran into Garry at a Sam’s store on a Sunday evening. What are the odds? Anyway, we reconnected and subsequently I attended several of his training courses. 

Garry is a gifted presenter, cares deeply about those in the police profession, and continues to educate post active duty from the DPS.

 Over the past few years, it’s been my privilege to get to know Garry Parker. We have had Garry speak at several law enforcement conferences. But we have also been privileged to have Garry travel around the State of Missouri doing training in our more rural areas where they don’t get a lot of training close by. 

Garry is a dynamic speaker and one of the best trainers I have heard in my 38 years in law enforcement. He keeps your attention and really tells the officers what they need to hear. Not just what they want to hear. 

We continue to get requests for him to return to Missouri and I’m sure we will have him return in the future. He is probably one of the best speakers available today. 

Three years ago, I was tasked to search for a presentation on Law Enforcement Driving Concerns. 

I came across Garry Parker as I searched websites. 

Our office has now hosted Mr. Parker several times to present on Law Enforcement Driving Concerns and Leadership.

Our administration has made a commitment to bring Mr. Parker back every two years to present.

Mr. Parker is engaging, empowering, and entertaining. 

He indeed presents from the heart. You can hear it in his voice and see it in his body language.

I can’t recommend Mr. Parker enough. 

Mr. Parker is not only career-changing but life-changing.

It is my great pleasure to recommend Garry Parker as a keynote speaker and/or presenter for your training event, conference, or gathering.  We have had Garry speak at a number of our conferences in Oregon, and it is well worth the investment to bring him here from Texas.

I can’t recommend Garry Parker highly enough.  He is the whole package – a retired Texas Trooper who is a dynamite speaker with an engaging message.  His passion for saving lives is unrivaled, and his message is important.  If your conference is looking for a fervent, professional orator who will motivate your audience to action, Garry is the answer for you. 

Finally, Garry isn’t just geared toward messaging traffic safety to the public – he is one of the few people who also has the credibility to engage and motivate law enforcement to change their behavior for the improvement of the lives of officers and constituents.

  I've seen Garry Parker speak on three different occasions. The first presentation was at the Law Enforcement Conference Symposium (LECS) in Albuquerque, NM back on 2017. This was my first time hearing Mr. Parker speak and it was eye opening and he kept me engaged. Being that Mr. Parker had a law enforcement background, he speaks at a level that keeps cops entertained. 

I then had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Parker speak again at a Safer New Mexico Now conference in 2018. This topic was geared towards data based Enforcement (aka DDACTS). I'm a true believer in DDACTS and Mr. Parker hit the nail on the head in this presentation. He did such a great job on this topic that I brought Mr. Parker to my agency to speak about DDACTS.

In 2019 Mr. Parker spoke to the Albuquerque Police Dept. on DDACTS. I was responsible for bringing Mr. Parker here and after his presentation, I had numerous police officers (of all ranks) come up to me and ask where I found Garry Parker? I advised them that I had heard him speak at a couple different conferences and asked what they thought...they all advised they loved him, that he's entertaining and kept them engaged.

I would highly recommend Garry Parker as a presenter. He's a great presenter and keeps the audience engaged.

I met Garry Parker a couple years ago at our Traffic Safety Conference in Kansas. I've heard a lot of speakers in my 33 years of Law Enforcement but I have never witnessed a speaker like Mr. Parker that keeps an audience's attention as he does. He tells Law Enforcement the way it is and doesn't pull any punches. He talks on Officer Safety as well as Officer's Driving Techniques. The first time I heard him he talked for approximately 4 hours. Most of the time when a speaker talks for that long they loose the audience. Not with Mr. Parker. Officers are just as attentive at the end as they are at the beginning.  If you want a speaker that will get your attention, make you think about things you have been doing on vehicle stops and driving, he is your man. He may save your life. Would recommend him to anyone. 

He also speaks to HIgh School Students about driving behavior and what will save their life. This past week I spent 2 days with him at High Schools in Eastern Kansas. Over those 2 days he spoke to approximately 900 High School Students. I heard students talking about what they had heard and the response was positive. 

We need more speakers like Mr. Parker to help save lives in Law Enforcement as well as our children.

Musson Brothers contracted with Garry when we were looking for a speaker to talk to our employees about safe driving. 

Garry exceeded our expectations and kept the group so interested on this topic, we had to bring him back a month later to our bigger safety meeting of 120 employees. 

After the meetings, we have had employees come up to us and tell us how much they enjoyed Garry’s presentation to our group and that they even shared the lessons learned from Garry with their own families. 

I would highly recommend bringing in Garry if you are looking for someone to grab a groups attention and leave a lasting impression that they will surely take with them onto and off of the jobsites. 

We have already talked internally and plan to bring Garry back at some point in the near future.
